I’m getting old.
So I decided to write down the important lessons I’ve learned in life up until this point. This will be my shortest article yet.
- The real test of if you’re a germaphobe is not how much time you spend washing your hands but how much time you spend washing your soap.
- If you have a big plate of curry goat on Monday, there’s an excellent chance you’ll have a big zit by Wednesday.
- Allowing someone to abuse you and mistreat you indefinitely is not a ministry.
- Whether you like pets or not, everyone needs a personal bulldog in a human form.
- Sometimes, the best question you can ask yourself is, “What am I trying to accomplish?”
- The wounds inflicted by a jealous friend hurt more than anything else on planet earth.
- The wounds left by unhealthy relationships are not healed by Healthy relationships. The wounds left by unhealthy relationships are only healed by the presence of God.
- If deep down, you think you are not loveable, you will cheat. The first person to come along and stroke your ego outside of your long-term relationship will get you to cheat. Because deep down, you don’t believe your long-term relationship person loves you or could possibly love you anyway. (I learned this from someone who just threw his marriage down the toilet.)
- If something truly spectacular happens to you and your dear friends are not jumping up and down, don’t go into shock or anything.
- In the due course of time, without any effort on your part, the hand of justice has a way of reaching down and dealing with that person who is terrorizing or mistreating you at work. (I have seen this happen enough times to know it’s true.)
- If you see a gorgeous dress you can’t afford right now, don’t panic. The global supply of gorgeous dresses is unlimited. The supply of gorgeous dresses has never run out even once in all of recorded history.
- Who you thought was going to love you and who loves you are two different people.
Well, that’s all I have witnessed during my time amongst the humans. When I learn some more stuff, I’ll be sure to pass it on.
